Arborist Planning Reports

If your development project has protected trees, then you will need an arborist report for Resource Consent (AUP) and  Tree Owner Approval (AS4970), which may include: 

• Pre-Check - For Scoping - Desktop check of site/trees & high-level advice.
• PAR | Preliminary Arboricultural Report - For Data - site survey of all trees, their locations & quality. 
• TCP | Tree Constraints Plan - For Design - A plan & brief outlining the proposed impact, encroachment or incursion on protected trees. Evidence of design changes in line with the Avoid, Remedy & Mitigate principle. 
• AIA | Arboricultural Impact Assessment -  For Consent & Approval - A report & plan for Resource Consent and Tree Owner Approval. Outlining the viability of retained trees. 
• TPWP | Tree Protection & Works Plan - For Construction - A plan for site managers to refer to, outlining works and protection measures to be carried out by the Project Arborist. 
• SLCP | Supervision Log & Compliance Report - For Compliance - A memorandum record of all tree protection activities, including root pruning & branch trimming, as per Council conditions.
